African Daisies Gerbera

Gerbera are perennial daisies often planted as annuals as they can be sensitive to the extreme heat in Summer and Winter cold. If accommodated with afternoon shade in Summer and covered with frost cloth on the coldest nights of Winter below 40°F, you can get a few years of flowers. They bloom best in the comfortably cool temps of Spring and Fall and if you dead head spent blooms.
